Additional details - Hill's Prescription Diet A/D Canine and Feline:

  • To improve the intake of Hill's Prescription Diet A/D, serve it between ambient and body temperature (20-40°C); do not serve straight from the fridge.
  • To feed with a syringe, stir well before filling the syringe.
  • Discard if not used within 36 hours.
  • For patients with decreased gastrointestinal functions, you may need to set up a 3-day nutritional transition strategy:

Day 1 – one third of daily recommended quantity diluted in two parts of water;

Day 2 – two thirds of the daily recommended quantity diluted in half a part of water;

Day 3 – daily recommended quantity, without dilution.

  • To feed with a tube, mix Hill's Prescription Diet A/D with 1 to 2 parts of water.
