How to use - Zylkene

Zylkene is used to treat cats and dogs faced with a stressful situation or as a preventive treatment. Zylkene helps pets adapt easily and rapidly to any change: adoption, work, first separations, reproduction. Your pet will overcome these situations more easily with Zylkene.

Zylkene's effectiveness has been proven by many clinical studies in cats and dogs. Response to treatment happens in as little as 7 days after the first treatment.

Constituents - Zylkene

Zylkene is made from a patented milk protein called alpha S1 casein. Zylkene is therefore very safe for your pet. Zylkene does not create dependencies or result in a rebound effect. Because Zylkene comes as a tasty powder, it is easy to give to your pet.

ZYLKENE 75 mg:

• Tryptic alphaS1-casein hydrolysate*: 75 mg
• Excipient Q.S.: 1 capsule

ZYLKENE 225 mg:

• Tryptic alphaS1-casein hydrolysate*: 225 mg
• Excipient Q.S.: 1 capsule

ZYLKENE 450 mg:

• Tryptic alphaS1-casein hydrolysate*: 450 mg
• Excipient Q.S.: 1 capsule

Zylkene - Instructions for use

Orally.

• Cats and dogs up to 10 kg: ZYLKENE 75 mg - 1 to 2 capsules a day.
• Dogs from 10 to 30 kg: ZYLKENE 225 mg - 1 to 2 capsules a day.
• Dogs more than 30 kg: ZYLKENE 450 mg - 1 to 2 capsules a day.

Give a Zylkene capsule directly to your pet or open it and mix the content with the food or a treat, either dry or wet. The 15 mg/kg daily dose should be given over one or two feedings.

Zylkene should be used for a period of 1 to 2 months, to be repeated if necessary. We generally recommend evaluating the response to the treatment and/or behaviour therapy after 15 to 30 days in order to determine whether the dosage needs to be adjusted.
