The story behind Nina Ottosson dog games:

Swiss and the owner of two adorable bouviers des Flandres, Nina Ottosson noticed that when her two children were born with just a year-and-a-half between them, she had less time to spend with her dogs. So during this time, Nina looked for something simple and educational that would keep her dogs busy and stimulate their intelligence, and this is how she ended up developing Nina Ottosson games and puzzles.

Her games and puzzles became increasingly successful over the years and numerous veterinarians and dog behaviourists now recommend them for their beneficial effects.

The Nina Ottosson Casino game - How it works:

The game consists of 6 drawers that are locked when the small white plastic bones are turned 90 degrees.

Open the drawers, slide in a few treats, close the drawers and “lock” them by pivoting the plastic bones.  Next, put the game on the floor and encourage your dog to find the treats.

To make it easier the first few times, you can put the treats in the drawers without closing all of them. It might also be advisable to not “lock” the drawers by turning the white bones.

You can help your dog a bit by demonstrating how the game works. You can also adjust the tone of your voice to encourage your dog to look for the treats.

The Nina Ottosson Casino game - Description:

Dimensions: 31 x 26 cm, 4.5 cm high.

Cleaning: To wash your dog's Dog Brick, simply remove all the remaining treats or kibbles and wash by hand with hot, soapy water, rinse, and towel dry.

Difficulty level: This is a level 3 game, which means it will be harder to solve than Nina Ottosson level 1 and level 2 games.

Your dog will benefit from the mental challenges provided by this puzzle and will blossom thanks to its interaction with you and the fun it will have resolving problems.

Always watch your dog when you're engaging it with this game so that it doesn't destroy the plastic game components. Remove the game and put it away when the play session is over so your dog doesn't chew on it.
